Job summary

Renault Trucks in Felixstowe is seeking an HGV Technician Supervisor to oversee shift technicians, coordinate workload, diagnose and repair vehicles, and ensure high standard servicing. You will participate in the on-call rota and perform safety inspections, with focus on H&S compliance and efficient workshop operations.

The role requires C&G or NVQ3 Vehicle Technician qualification, strong electrical/diagnostic/mechanical skills, and a clean driving licence; HGV experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• C&G or NVQ3 Vehicle Technician qualification.
• Excellent electrical, diagnostic and mechanical skills.
• Clean Driving Licence – HGV would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the shift technicians and coordinate workload.
• Diagnose and repair of vehicles.
• Service vehicles to a high standard.
• Participation in call out and breakdown rota when required.
• Carry out scheduled safety inspections and report rectifications.
• Complete job cards clearly and accurately.
