Job summary

AB Volvo invites applications for a Level 3 qualified HGV/LCV Technician at the Renault Truck Commercials Network – RTC in Faversham, Kent. This role offers a 40-hour week with early and late shifts, plus Saturday mornings on rotation and extra payments for standby and call out.

• Organised and methodical; complete daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Service Process Maps and budgets per up-front job specifications.
• Provide diagnostic outcomes and accurately specify repair solutions.
• Ensure time recording procedures are followed and jobs are handed to CSR for invoicing.

What you will do

An excellent opportunity to join the the Renault Truck Commercials Network – RTC in Faversham, Kent

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Level 3 qualified HGV Technician or Level 3 LCV Technician to join our thriving and busy Kent Dealership.

Main Duties:

Shifts: – 40 hour week

Pay is up to £21 pr hr DOE

Early Shift 06:00 – 14:30 | Late Shift 13:30 – 22:00

Alternate Saturday’s 06.00-12.00

Extra payments for Saturday mornings, Standby and Call Out

• Ensure your work is carried out as efficiently as possible and you are following the Service Process Maps
  Ensure you are fully briefed on job requirements and budgets per up-front job specifications
  Provide diagnostic outcomes and accurately specify repair solutions
  Ensure time recording procedures are complied with including correct use of codes as per productivity policy
  Ensure fully specified jobs are given to CSR for invoicing

Knowledge:

• Significant experience of working as a Dealership Technician within the Commercial vehicle industry
  Good knowledge of VOSA requirements and MOT testers manual.
  The application of Standard Times
  Knowledge of the Service Process stages relevant to the role
  An appreciation of our customers, the environment in which they operate and the direct impact we can have on their business
  Technical product knowledge

Required Competences

• City and Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent in Commercial Vehicle Technology HGV / LCV
  To be able to work in an organised & methodical manner ensuring that all daily tasks are completed
  To be able to modify your approach in specific circumstances to ensure a positive outcome
  To be able to understand & analyse technical issues & propose appropriate solutions
  Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
• 25 days rising with service.
