Job summary

Babcock is seeking an HGV Technician in Uxbridge, Greater London. The role is onsite at Ruislip, with a 40-hour week and a base salary of £42,637, plus a shift allowance of £5,542.81 and a discretionary £1,200 bonus. Overtime is available at 1.5x Mon-Sat and 2x on Sundays/Bank Holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and repairing HGV vehicles.
• Strong fault diagnosis and problem-solving capability.
• Knowledge of HGV maintenance requirements and technical specifications.
• Experience working to high safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work effectively within a workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and identify effective repair solutions on HGV vehicles.
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to keep vehicles safe and operational.
• Replace vehicle components and ordering parts when required.
• Complete maintenance documentation and service records accurately.
• Work safely while maintaining high quality workshop and compliance standards.
