Job summary

Veolia ES (UK) Limited is hiring an HGV Technician at our Clacton-on-Sea site. You will service and inspect a wide fleet, ensuring compliance with MOT regulations and health and safety protocols. A City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in HGV Engineering is essential, with driving licence and strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

Essential: City & Guilds or NVQ level 3 in HGV Engineering or equivalent.
Desirable: IRTEC Licence and relevant HGV/vehicle experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily duties in a safe working manner and adhere to QHSE obligations.
Attend toolbox talks and safety briefs; wear PPE.
Inspect and service vehicles, plant and equipment per OEM standards and DVSA requirements.
Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and complete paperwork timely.
Work as part of a team or independently and support colleagues.
