Job summary

3D Personnel Ltd is recruiting for HGV Mechanics/Technicians to service and repair heavy goods vehicles in Surrey’s Camberley, Dorking and Esher areas. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and prepare vehicles for MOT with routine six-week checks.

Immediate start with permanent opportunities for the right candidate. The role involves using diagnostic tools, maintaining documentation on tablets, and conducting road tests.

Qualifications

• Experience in servicing and repairing heavy goods vehicles to DVSA standards.
• Desirable COSHH awareness and environmental best practices.
• Certifications in heavy vehicle maintenance are preferred.
• Desirable HGV C license and related safety training.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic tools to identify faults and perform repairs.
• Dismantle and overhaul vehicle components to restore operation.
• Conduct routine maintenance and six-week checks.
• Maintain accurate job cards and inspection records on tablets/PDAs.
• Perform road tests to verify safety and performance.
• Assist with roadside breakdowns to reduce downtime.
• Follow health and safety policies in all tasks.
