Derby City Council is hiring for a permanent role in their vehicle maintenance team, based at Stores Road. The role offers a guaranteed basic salary and a target earnings opportunity on a rota basis, with overtime as needed. Work is 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility, and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 1/2/3 or NVQ in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair with prior experience on HGVs.
• Experience with specialist vehicles such as RCVs and road sweepers is desirable.
• Full HGV licence with DCPC is required or training can be provided.
