Job summary

SUEZ is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to maintain and repair our fleet to high safety and performance standards. You will work with an experienced team in a busy workshop, carrying out routine servicing, diagnostics, and repairs.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, a Class 2 HGV licence, and DBS check; you should be able to work independently or as part of a team with keen attention to detail.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
• Experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV driving licence.
• Basic DBS check will form part of the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing, maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnostics and fault finding on HGVs and articulated vehicles.
• Mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Ensuring all vehicles remain compliant with DVSA and company standards.
• Accurate completion of job cards and maintenance records.
