Job summary

SUEZ is seeking a skilled HGV Vehicle Technician for our workshop in Luton. You will maintain and repair our fleet to safety and performance standards, performing routine servicing, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent, plus experience on HGVs; a Class 2 (Cat C) HGV licence is needed. Monday–Friday 06:30–16:00; 45-hour week with career progression and training.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Positive attitude with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV driving licence.
• A Basic DBS check will form part of the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing, maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnostics and fault finding on HGVs and articulated vehicles.
• Mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Ensuring all vehicles remain compliant with DVSA and company standards.
• Accurate completion of job cards and maintenance records.
