Job summary

SUEZ is seeking a skilled vehicle technician to service and repair heavy goods and articulated vehicles at our Exeter workshop. You will perform routine servicing, diagnostics and preventative maintenance to DVSA standards, and maintain accurate job records.

We offer strong career development within a well-established company, regular training, and a supportive team culture. A Class 2 HGV licence and NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance are preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance is required.
• Previous experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles is essential.
• Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills are required.
• A positive attitude with excellent attention to detail is needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team is important.
• A valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV driving licence is preferred.
• A Basic DBS check will form part of the recruitment process.

Responsibilities

• Routine servicing, maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnostics and fault finding on HGVs and articulated vehicles.
• Mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Ensuring all vehicles remain compliant with DVSA and company standards.
• Accurate completion of job cards and maintenance records.
