Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for a high-performing dealership in Thurrock. You will perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of commercial vehicles to main dealer standards.

The role offers up to £27 per hour, a 45-hour week with rotating early/late shifts, and overtime. You will have access to structured training and progression towards Master Technician status, plus a pension and generous holiday.

Qualifications

• Strong experience across HGV maintenance and diagnostics.
• Full driving licence (HGV Class 1 desirable).
• A proactive, team-focused approach and pride in delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out maintenance, servicing, and repairs as an HGV Technician across a wide range of commercial vehicles
• Using advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve faults efficiently
• Working to main dealer standards with a focus on accuracy, safety, and first-time fixes
• Developing your technical skills through structured training and progression pathways
