Job summary

Major Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for night operations in Doncaster. You will service, maintain and repair a high-volume HGV fleet, carry out PPMs and inspections, and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults to ensure DVSA and O-Licence compliance.

You will also complete job cards and help keep vehicles on the road. Applicants should have NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in HGV Maintenance (or equivalent), plus proven heavy-vehicle experience and strong diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in HGV Maintenance (or equivalent experience).
• Experience working on HGVs or heavy fleet vehicles.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently on night shifts.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

We are working with a national automotive logistics and fleet operation supporting one of the UK's largest vehicle remarketing networks. Due to continued growth, they are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join their night operations team.

This is a critical role focused on keeping a high-volume fleet operational, compliant, and road-ready.

The Role
