Job summary

Zenith Group's client in South Yorkshire is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for night shifts on a 4 on, 4 off pattern. You will service, maintain and repair a mixed fleet of trucks and trailers, with a focus on safety and reliability.

You must have NVQ Level 3 in HGV Repair & Maintenance, at least 2 years post-qualification, a full driving licence, and good IT and communication skills. The role offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in HGV Repair & Maintenance.
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience working with HGV (Trucks & Trailers).
• Full, valid driving licence.
• Basic IT skills are beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Motivated with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine service, maintenance, and repair on HGVs, trucks, and trailers.
• Carry out inspections and complete MOT prep and presentation.
• Diagnose faults and efficiently rectify issues.
• Maintain accurate records, including job cards and service sheets, using online systems.
• Prioritise tasks to ensure quality service without sacrificing efficiency.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard with a focus on 'Right First Time'.

Salary ranges from: £58,156 to £60,403 per annum not including overtime

Are you an experienced HGV Technician with a passion for working on a diverse fleet of vehicles?

We're looking for a skilled professional to join our dedicated team at our customer's site in South Yorkshire working on a 4 on, 4 off, night shift pattern.

The site is conveniently located close to motorway and is easily accessible.

As a night shift HGV Technician, you'll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a mixed fleet of vehicles, with both truck work and trailer work.
Working in a clean, warm and well-maintained environment.

What you'll be doing

• Perform routine service, maintenance, and repair on HGVs, trucks, and trailers.
• Carry out inspections and complete MOT prep and presentation.
• Diagnose faults and efficiently rectify issues.
• Maintain accurate records, including job cards and service sheets, using online systems.
