Zenith Group is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for Evri in Barnsley. The role covers service, maintenance and repair of a mixed fleet, including truck and trailer work, in a clean, warm environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in HGV Repair & Maintenance required or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience with HGV (trucks & trailers).
• Full, valid driving licence required.
• Basic IT skills are beneficial.
• Excellent communication and the ability to work independently.
• Motivated with strong attention to detail and prioritisation.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine service, maintenance, and repair on HGVs, trucks, and trailers.
• Carry out inspections and MOT prep and presentation.
• Diagnose faults and rectify issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records, including job cards and service sheets, using online systems.
• Prioritise tasks to ensure quality service and efficiency.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard with Right First Time.

Day shifts - 50 hours per week

Salary: up to £48,880 not including overtime

Are you an experienced HGV Technician with a passion for working on a diverse fleet of vehicles?

We're looking for a skilled professional to join our dedicated team at our customer's site in South Yorkshire.

The site is conveniently located close to motorway and is easily accessible.

As a HGV Technician, you'll be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of a mixed fleet of vehicles, with both truck work and trailer work.
Working in a clean, warm and well-maintained environment.

What you'll be doing

• Perform routine service, maintenance, and repair on HGVs, trucks, and trailers.
• Carry out inspections and complete MOT prep and presentation.
• Diagnose faults and efficiently rectify issues.
• Maintain accurate records, including job cards and service sheets, using online systems.
• Prioritise tasks to ensure quality service without sacrificing efficiency.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard with a focus on "Right First Time."

What you'll bring

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in HGV Repair & Maintenance.
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience working with HGV (both Trucks & Trailers)
• Full, valid driving licence.
