Job summary
Veolia in Croydon is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to repair and maintain our fleet and third-party vehicles. You will diagnose using a range of equipment and carry out hydraulics, electrics and pneumatics diagnostics and repairs.
The role requires NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification with a focus on safety and accurate paperwork. Training for MOT inspections will be provided, and Veolia supports upskilling and career development.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Qualification or equivalent.
- Experience as an HGV/mechanical fitter is preferred and health & safety aware.
- Own comprehensive tool kit; diagnostic equipment provided by Veolia.
Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain Veolia Fleet, 3rd party vehicles and plant to standards.
- Run diagnostics on vehicles with range of equipment.
- Work with hydraulics, electrics and pneumatics; perform repairs.
- Ensure paperwork and time sheets are completed accurately.
- Carry out HGV MOT inspections and preparations; training provided.
