Qualificações

• Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance is required.
• Experience working on HGVs or completed an HGV industry apprenticeship is valued.
• Qualified technicians with a strong hands-on maintenance background are preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out service, maintenance and repair work on Volvo HGVs to high standards.
• Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Perform safety inspections, MOT preparations and routine maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely and per manufacturer standards.
• Wear PPE when appropriate and support trainee development.

Who are you?

Do you hold a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenanceand have previous experience working on HGV’s or have you completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry and enjoy getting your hands dirty?

We welcome applications from professionals with experience across heavy vehicle maintenance and repair. If you have previously worked as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Heavy Goods Vehicle Mechanic, or Commercial Vehicle Technician, your skills are highly relevant to this role. We also value transferable expertise from allied industries; candidates with backgrounds as a PSV Technician, PCV Mechanic, Bus and Coach Technician, or a Heavy Plant Mechanic / Plant Technician are strongly encouraged to apply, as full product training on our modern fleet will be provided.

What will you be doing?

• Carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on Volvo HGVs to the highest standards.
• Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Perform safety inspections, MOT preparations, and routine maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with manufacturer standards.
• Wear personal protective equipment when appropriate
• Support the development of young trainees and apprentices
