HGV Technician – Lincoln – Base Salary £40k - £42k + Overtime + Shift Allowance - With OTE up to £55k (Day Shift) & up to £68k (Night Shift)

About the Role

• Shifts: 45 hours per week plus every other Saturday morning, paid at time and a half.
• Opportunity to earn call-out fees and call-out overtime (paid at double time).

They are growing their technician teams to support their busy workshops and are looking for skilled, motivated Commercial Vehicle Technicians to join them.

Role Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and repairs in line with DVSA standards.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT and present them for testing.
• Diagnose faults using industry-leading diagnostic tools.
• Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs to a high standard.
• Attend roadside breakdowns and provide offsite support where required.

Candidate Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a technician role.
• Background in commercial vehicle or retail automotive sectors.
• Main dealer experience is an advantage but not essential.
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
