Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Maintenance or equivalent.
• Experience as an HGV technician or in a similar vehicle maintenance role.
• Diagnostic qualifications desirable.
• Class 1 licence desirable; training may be provided.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to DVSA and manufacturer standards.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on vehicles and trailers using diagnostic tools.
• Service and maintain vehicles and trailers to DVSA and manufacturer standards.
• Complete all legal and compliance documentation accurately and on time.
• Follow best practice for repairs, component replacements and final sign-off.
• Perform Preventative Maintenance Inspections to DVSA standards.
• Collaborate with workshop team to meet targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workspace.
• Comply with Health & Safety regulations at all times.
