Job summary

PETIT FORESTIER UK in Warrington is seeking an experienced vehicle mechanic to service, repair and maintain our fleet to a high standard. You will inspect vehicles, prepare them to meet MOT standards and ensure compliance with the company’s O-licence requirements.

Reporting to the Foreman, you will manage your workload, complete accurate job sheets, use workshop equipment correctly, and contribute to preventative maintenance. A full driving license (incl.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds level 1/2 or equivalent, apprenticeship in commercial fitting.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics and repair procedures.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute vehicle inspection, service and repairs to high standards.
• Accurately complete job sheets and record time and parts used.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT and ensure compliance with O‑licence regulations.
• Maintain housekeeping and safely use workshop equipment.
• Communicate progress to Foreman/Manager and flag delays.
