Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
Proven experience as an HGV Technician; Volvo experience is advantageous but not essential.
Full UK driving licence; HGV licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy goods vehicles, adhering to manufacturer procedures.
Perform fault diagnosis utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
Assist in road tests, where HGV licences are held.
Ensure compliance with warranty procedures and accurately record all work undertaken.
Support parts department to ensure correct fitting of replacement parts.
Complete job cards and service sheets in accordance with Volvo standards.
Report vehicle defects and maintain workshop facility standards.
Support roadside breakdowns as required.
Contribute to the development of new trainees and apprentices.
