Job summary

Ford & Slater Newark in Leicester is seeking an HGV Technician to join their team. The role involves servicing and maintaining trucks and vehicles, diagnostic work, and preparing them for MOTs. Ideal candidates will have previous experience, ideally a qualification in Vehicle Maintenance, and a full UK driving licence. Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician or in a related sector.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately including job cards.
• General level of computer literacy is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining a variety of Trucks and Vehicles.
• Conducting fault diagnostics and mechanical/electrical repairs.
• Preparing vehicles for MOT and ensuring safety during repairs.
