Job summary

Volvo Group is seeking skilled HGV Technicians in Ipswich. You will perform service, maintenance, and repairs on Volvo HGVs, diagnose faults with modern equipment, and carry out safety inspections and MOT preparations.

A clean, safe, efficient workflow and adherence to manufacturer standards are expected. Requires full qualification (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) and experience with HGVs or commercial vehicles, plus strong diagnostic/problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

Fully qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
Experience working with HGVs or commercial vehicles.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on Volvo HGVs to the highest standards.
Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
Perform safety inspections, MOT preparations, and routine maintenance.
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with manufacturer standards.
Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
