Dennis Eagle is seeking an experienced HGV Technician/Mechanic in Evercreech to service, diagnose and repair a range of heavy vehicles, including refuse collection vehicles and equipment. You will work in the workshop and on customer sites, ensuring safety, quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Service & Maintenance.
• Proven experience maintaining and repairing HGVs, commercial vehicles or similar.
• Good understanding of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems; ability to read wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on range of specialist vehicles.
• Work in workshop and at customer sites to high safety and quality standards.
• Record work accurately using workshop/fleet management systems.
• Liaise with customers and colleagues to ensure efficient completion of work.
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain housekeeping.
