Job summary

Greenhous DAF Birmingham is seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our professional workshop team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and performance standards.

The role involves alternating shifts with an average of 45 hours per week. In addition to routine maintenance, you'll diagnose faults, complete inspections, and prepare vehicles for testing. We offer competitive perks including 30 days of holiday and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Qualified HGV Technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience working on HGVs preferred.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine maintenance, servicing and repairs on HGVs.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Complete vehicle inspections for MOT testing.
