NRG Riverside in Northampton is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to service, diagnose, repair and maintain a range of commercial vehicles including HGVs and RCVs. Training will be provided for specialist tasks to build on current skills and keep fleets moving.

The role offers rotating shifts in Northampton with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency and paperwork accuracy. A supportive team culture and clear development opportunities are highlighted.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, HGV Engineer or Fleet Engineer.
• HGV technical qualification such as NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent.
• Experience with RCVs or municipal vehicles is a bonus.
• Experience with tacho and wheel alignment and general CV repairs.
• Class 2 licence would be preferred.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety and customer-focused approach.

Aufgaben

• Servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs / commercial vehicles; diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs.
• Attend breakdowns and perform electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
• Carry out Tacho calibrations and wheel alignments; prepare vehicles for MOT.
• Complete paperwork and ensure records are up to date.
