Job summary

Biffa is offering an HGV Technician Apprentice opportunity in the UK's automotive and engineering sector. You will learn on the job, joining experienced technicians to service and repair our fleet while gaining a Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair apprenticeship over a 3-year programme.

You'll work in a professional workshop, developing skills in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with health and safety at the core and clear progression as you grow your capabilities.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn and develop hands-on repair skills.
• Good problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
• Must hold a Cat B driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair HGVs and LGVs.
• Diagnose and fix vehicle faults.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections.
• Work with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Follow health and safety best practices in a workshop environment.
