Job summary

Biffa is offering an HGV Technician Apprentice role in the United Kingdom. You will join a hands-on programme to service and repair heavy vehicles while gaining practical skills and recognised qualifications.

Throughout the 3-year scheme, you’ll work with experienced technicians in a professional workshop, learning to diagnose faults, operate electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and prepare vehicles for MOT inspections.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and work in a professional workshop environment.
• Willing to follow health and safety practices at all times.
• Enthusiasm for hands-on maintenance of heavy vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair HGVs and LGVs under supervision.
• Diagnose and fix vehicle faults using electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
