HGV Technician

Depot Location: Warrington

Working Hours: 6am to 6pm

Shifts available: 4 on 4 off

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Financial Package: £21.17ph £47,000 Per Annum (Plus Overtime)

Job Overview:
My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business, is actively seeking to employ HGV Technicians on day shifts.

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements
2. Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
3. General Servicing and MOT preparation
4. Fault finding & diagnostics
5. Updating all required paperwork / databases

Qualifications:

1. Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship
2. Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
3. A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage but isn't essential
4. Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems, maintenance and repair
