Job summary

Gist Limited is seeking skilled HGV Technicians in Thatcham to service, diagnose, and repair our modern fleet. You will follow manufacturer guidelines to keep vehicles roadworthy and maintain comprehensive records.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
• HGV experience in a fast-paced environment (preferably distribution/logistics).
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Class 1 license is desirable (but we can support you in getting it!).

Responsibilities

• Servicing & maintaining HGVs to meet safety and performance standards.
• Diagnosing & repairing electrical and mechanical faults.
• Following manufacturer guidelines to keep our fleet roadworthy and efficient.
• Keeping accurate records of work completed.

Education

NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)

HGV experience in a fast-paced environment
