Job summary

Gist Limited in Barnsley is recruiting professional Class 1 Drivers to support our busy M&S operation this summer and beyond. You will join a fast-paced logistics environment with modern vehicles and a supportive transport team.

Shifts include nights 00:00-05:00, 40 hours per week, and a rota with 5 from 7 on a 28 week rolling schedule. You’ll deliver stock to M&S stores safely and professionally, with ongoing training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 18 months Class 1 driving experience.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Professional and safety-focused approach.
• Reliable, team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Completing store deliveries across the network.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and delivery paperwork.
• Working safely and efficiently to planned schedules.
• Representing Gist and M&S professionally on site.

We’re growing our Barnsley driver team and looking for professional Class 1 Drivers to support our busy M&S operation this summer and beyond

Whether you prefer trunking, store deliveries, tramping, or shunting, you’ll be joining a fast-paced logistics operation with consistent work, modern vehicles, and a supportive transport team behind you with genuine long-term opportunities.

The Role - Store Deliveries

You’ll be delivering stock safely and efficiently to M&S stores while providing a professional service at every location.

What We’re Looking For
