Perfect Placement is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy workshop near Bishop Stortford. You will service and repair large commercial vehicles, ensuring safety and compliance while working in a supportive team.

The role offers a competitive salary of around £46,000, Monday to Friday hours with every other Saturday morning included, and opportunities for ongoing training and career development in a professional workshop setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role within commercial vehicle maintenance.
• Own set of tools suitable for daily tasks.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Practical experience in servicing and repairing large commercial vehicles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and inspections on commercial vehicles, including lorries and rigids.
• Perform repairs to ensure vehicles meet industry standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all work carried out.
