Job summary

Platinum-Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for a modern workshop in Faversham, Kent. You will service, repair, and inspect HGVs and trailers, with the chance to progress in a forward-thinking business.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs/trailers
• Ability to work to DVSA standards and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using specialist equipment
• Complete inspections and safety checks in line with DVSA standards
• Repair and replace defective components and systems
• Prepare vehicles for MOT and testing
• Maintain accurate service and repair documentation
• Follow workshop health & safety procedures

Key Responsibilities:

As an HGV Technician, you’ll play a key role in keeping the fleet operating safely and efficiently by:
