Job summary

Elite Workforce Solutions Ltd in Glasgow is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy workshop. The role offers a permanent, full-time contract with clear career development and fully funded training.

You will service, diagnose, and repair heavy goods vehicles to DVSA and manufacturer standards, perform MOT prep, and ensure accurate service documentation and safe teamwork in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as HGV technician is required.
• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and MOT preparation.
• Ensuring all work complies with DVSA and manufacturer standards.
• Completing job cards and service documentation accurately.

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

HGV Technician Required - Glasgow

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and motivated Level 3 HGV Technician to join our busy and well-established workshop in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent position offering strong earning potential and fully funded training to support your long-term career development.

The Role

As an HGV Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing heavy goods vehicles
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and MOT preparation
• Ensuring all work is completed to DVSA and manufacturer standards
• Accurately completing job cards and service documentation
• Working safely and efficiently within a team environment

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Previous experience working as an HGV Technician
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
• Full UK driving licence
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
