Job description

HGV Technician

Depot Location: Haydock

Working Hours: 4 On 4 Off, 6am/pm to 6pm/am, Days & Nights available (Paid 30 min Lunch)

Contract Type: Full-time / Permanent role

Financial Package: Days = £19.92/hr & Nights = £22.60/hr + overtime paid at time and a half
£45,000 to £50,000 Per Annum

My client, a well-established Truck & Trailer maintenance business, is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on day and night shifts.

Working in an established team of HGV Technicians, you will be required to undertake:

1. Carry out repairs highlighted during initial inspections
2. General Servicing and MOT preparation
3. Fault finding & diagnostics
4. Updating all required paperwork / databases

The successful HGV Technician will have:

• Full industry qualifications and completed a recognized apprenticeship
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
• A commercial license is advantageous but not essential
