As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:

Performing routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of commercial vehicles and trailers, adhering to DVSA and Company standards.
*

Diagnosing and rectifying all types of faults using your expertise, working on your own initiative to ensure cost-effective and safe repairs to an exceptionally high standard.
*

Attending and repairing disabled vehicles at customer sites, demonstrating quick problem-solving.
*

Ensuring meticulous vehicle handling and strict adherence to health and safety regulations, both in the workshop and on customer premises.
*

Accurately recording all job details, times, and actions on job cards and service sheets within agreed timescales.

Maintaining impeccable housekeeping standards throughout your shift.

Staying current with all relevant DVSA and product developments, actively participating in training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Being a flexible and effective team player, contributing to both your personal and the business's development.

We're looking for an HGV Mechanic with:

A technical qualification related to commercial vehicles (City & Guilds Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).

A current, full driving licence.
*

Strong verbal and numerical reasoning skills, coupled with confidence in your abilities.

An efficient, neat, and disciplined commercial HGV Technician.
