Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Dealership Technician in the Commercial vehicle industry.
• Good knowledge of VOSA requirements and MOT testers manual.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.

• Ensure compliance with Service Process Maps and productivity policies.
• Conduct efficient time recording procedures and inform CSR for invoicing.

What you will do

Join the Renault Truck Commercials Network - RTC in Faversham, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Level 3 qualified HGV Technician or Level 3 qualified LCV Technician to join our thriving and busy Kent Dealership.

Main Duties:

• Shifts: - 40 hour week
• Early Shift 06:00 - 14:30 | Late Shift 13:30 - 22:00
• Alternate Saturday's 06.00-12.00
• Extra payments for Saturday mornings, Standby and Call Out
• Ensure your work is carried out efficiently, following Service Process Maps
• Be fully briefed on job requirements and budgets per up-front job specifications
• Provide diagnostic outcomes and accurately specify repair solutions
• Ensure time recording procedures are followed, including correct use of codes as per productivity policy
• Ensure fully specified jobs are given to CSR for invoicing

Knowledge:

• Significant experience working as a Dealership Technician within the Commercial vehicle industry
• Good knowledge of VOSA requirements and MOT testers manual
• Application of Standard Times
• Knowledge of the Service Process stages relevant to the role
• Understanding of our customers, their environment, and the impact we can have on their business
• Technical product knowledge

Required Competences

• City and Guilds, NVQ 3 or equivalent in Commercial Vehicle Technology - HGV or LCV
• Organized and methodical work approach ensuring all daily tasks are completed
• Ability to adapt approach to specific circumstances for positive outcomes
• Ability to understand & analyze technical issues & propose solutions
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
• 25 days rising with service
