Job description

Proactive Personnel are currently looking for a Skilled HGV Technician in the Coalville area.

HGV Technician Details:

• £55,000 – £57,000 salary (without overtime).
• MOT Bonus.
• Monthly Tool Allowance.
• Overtime available paid at 1.5x.
• Ongoing and further training.

HGV Technician Duties:

• Conduct routine safety inspections, MOT preps, servicing, and repairs for vehicles and trailers.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including parts used and time taken, for proper cost allocation.
• Complete all maintenance and repair record sheets with precision.
• Participate in training as needed.

HGV Technician Requirements:

• Full UK Driving licence, Class 1 would be an advantage but not essential.
• Own tools (tool allowance also provided though).
• Full Qualified HGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter.
• Experience with Hydraulics.
