HGV Technician / HGV Fitter

We are currently seeking a HGV Technician / HGV Fitter on behalf of our client, a respected commercial vehicle business based in the Blaydon area.

The successful candidate can expect a salary of up to £40,950, with an OTE of approximately £44,362, working 45 hours per week.

Our client is looking for individuals with previous experience in the role to join their busy team. This is a full-time position offering opportunities for career development and training.

Typical Duties:

• Servicing, repair, and maintenance of HGVs
• Completion of job sheets and documentation
• Liaising with the service and parts departments
• Preparation for MOTs

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
• Excellent mechanical knowledge
• A Class 1 Licence may be advantageous

Our client is seeking both experienced HGV Technicians and applicants with Van Technician experience. There is an opportunity for Van Technicians with some experience to upskill and train on HGVs, with access to company training from the outset and throughout your employment.
