Qualifications

Job Description:

Full Time / Permanent

Our client is one of the largest privately owned truck dealerships in the UK, with many depots spanning the East of England, supplying a full range of new, pre-owned trucks, trailers, and vans.

  • Perform routine maintenance checks on heavy goods vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in HGVs.
  • Conduct regular inspections and servicing of engines, brakes, transmission systems, and other components.
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify issues and make necessary repairs.
  • Replace worn or faulty parts, such as brakes, clutches, and exhaust systems.
  • Must be fully qualified HGV technician (NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as an HGV technician.
  • Valid driving license.
  • Own tools.
