Job summary
AutoSkills United Kingdom in Bicester is seeking an experienced HGV / Heavy Plant Engineer to join our busy engineering team. You will service, maintain and repair HGVs and heavy plant equipment at our site in Bicester.
The role requires diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults, completing inspections and identifying additional repair needs. A background in HGV or heavy plant maintenance and solid fault-finding skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Experience servicing and repairing HGVs and heavy plant equipment.
- Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
- Proven track record in vehicle maintenance for HGV/heavy plant gear.

Location: Bicester
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday | 07:30-16:30
We currently have a vacancy for an experienced HGV / Heavy Plant Engineer to join a busy engineering team based in Bicester.
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and heavy plant equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults.
- Complete inspections and identify any additional repair requirements
The core skills and qualifications required for an HGV / Heavy Plant Engineer are:
- Relevant technical qualifications in HGV, heavy plant or vehicle maintenance, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience working on HGVs, heavy plant or similar equipment.
- Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills.
