Responsibilities

• Undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Perform vehicle inspections and general servicing.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT presentation.

Job Role: HGV Technician

Annual Earnings: 42,000 - 46,000

Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent

HGV Technician Duties

1. Working in a team of highly skilled and experienced HGV Technicians on a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles, the successful applicants will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair. Your duties will include:
2. Vehicle inspections
3. General servicing and pre-planned maintenance
4. Reactive maintenance as required
5. MOT preparation / presentation
6. Correction of running defects

HGV Technician Experience

1. Be a qualified HGV Mechanic with City & Guilds / NVQ qualifications
2. Be able to undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair
3. Auto Electrical, Welding, and tail lift maintenance experience would be beneficial but not essential
4. A Commercial vehicle driving licence would be a benefit for this role
