Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking an experienced HGV Driver to support vacuum tanker operations as part of a skilled team in Leeds and across Yorkshire. You will be responsible for safe, efficient completion of drainage and sewer cleansing tasks under various contracts.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will drive the vacuum tanker, perform vehicle checks, liaise with customers, and update records while adhering to safety standards and company values.

Qualifications

• HGV licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
• CPC certificate desirable.
• Experience with tankers desirable.

Responsibilities

• Independently drive and operate a vacuum tanker for site-to-disposal movements across Leeds and Yorkshire.
• Tackle drainage-related projects and assist with remedial works as needed.
• Move treated and untreated waste products and support with tankering duties.
• Liaise with customers to coordinate works and timescales.
• Update electronic records and logs accurately.
• Report safety issues and ensure vehicle and jetting equipment checks.
• Perform pre- and post-mivehicle checks and maintain clean, compliant vehicles.
