Job summary

The Lanes Group in Cardiff is recruiting an HGV Tanker Driver to support the Operations Team. You will operate high specification vacuumation units, handling drainage tasks, and work both independently and as part of a well-established team.

The role involves moving waste products, liaising with customers, updating electronic records, and reporting safety issues; 47.5 hours weekly (Mon-Fri with some weekend work), £15.50 per hour, full company PPE, parking, and pension benefits.

Qualifications

• HGV driving duties and safe operation.
• Ability to update electronic records and liaise with customers.
• Physically fit and energetic; comfortable with manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Move treated and untreated waste product and assist remedial works.
• Liaise with customers and update electronic records.
• Perform vehicle and equipment checks and report safety issues.
• Be competent with data entry on laptop/tablet.

Job description

The Lanes Group are recruiting HGV Tanker Drivers in support of the Operational Team in Cardiff. You will be working within a well established team that are looking to expand further with another strong member of staff., You will working independently operating our high specification tankering vacuumation units. Work Projects, will include any drainage related issues,

• moving treated and untreated waste product, assisting with remedial works
• Liaising with customers.
• Updating electronical records.
• Ensuring safety issues are reported.
• Vehicle and Jetting Equipment checks Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry.
• Physical fitness and lots of energy.
• Ideally A driving licence with no more than 4 points
• Industry related qualifications such as NRSWA and Confined Space (desirable)
• a CPC is required for this role.
• Previous experience with vacuumation tankering works would be highly advantageous. The Lanes Group are the UK's largest independent provider of water and wastewater solutions and services, we play a vital role in always maintaining the seamless operations of the nation's water systems.

• Hours: 47.5 hours per week Monday- Friday with some weekend work
