Job summary

The Lanes Group is recruiting HGV Tanker Drivers in Cardiff to support the Operational Team. You will operate our high specification tankering vacuumation units on a range of drainage projects and liaise with customers to keep sites running smoothly.

We offer 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, life assurance, enhanced overtime rates, and a company pension. Full PPE is provided and parking is free on site.

Qualifications

• CPC is required for this role.
• Driving licence with no more than 4 points.
• NRSWA and Confined Space qualifications are desirable.
• Good data entry and physical stamina.

Responsibilities

• Operate high specification tankering vacuumation units.
• Move treated and untreated waste products and assist with remedial works.
• Liaise with customers.
• Update electronic records.
• Report safety issues.
• Vehicle and jetting equipment checks.

About the role:

The Lanes Group are recruiting HGV Tanker Drivers in support of the Operational Team in Cardiff. You will be working within a well established team that are looking to expand further with another strong member of staff.

• Location: Cardiff
• Hours: 47.5 hours per week Monday- Friday with some weekend work
• Salary: £15.50 per hour

The job:

You will working independently operating our high specification tankering vacuumation units. Work Projects, will include any drainage related issues,

• moving treated and untreated waste product, assisting with remedial works
• Liaising with customers.
• Updating electronical records.
• Ensuring safety issues are reported.
• Vehicle and Jetting Equipment checks

About you:

• Competent in using an electronic device – laptop / tablet for data entry.
• Physical fitness and lots of energy.
• Ideally A driving licence with no more than 4 points
• Industry related qualifications such as NRSWA and Confined Space (desirable)
• a CPC is required for this role.
• Previous experience with vacuumation tankering works would be highly advantageous.
