Job summary

The Lanes Group in Cardiff is hiring HGV Tanker Drivers to join the Operational Team. You will operate high-spec tankering vacuumation units on drainage projects, within a well-established team.

Hours are 47.5 per week, Monday–Friday with some weekend work; salary £15.50 per hour, plus benefits including 21 days holiday, life assurance, enhanced overtime, pension, PPE, and free onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Competent using an electronic device—laptop/tablet for data entry.
• Good physical fitness and high energy levels.
• Driving licence with no more than 4 points.
• CPC certification is required for this role.
• Industry qualifications such as NRSWA and Confined Space are desirable.
• Previous vacuumation tankering experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-spec tankering vacuumation units on drainage projects.
• Move treated and untreated waste products and assist with remedial works as needed.
• Liaise with customers and update electronic records.
• Ensure safety issues are reported and addressed.
• Carry out vehicle and jetting equipment checks.

About the role:

The Lanes Group are recruiting HGV Tanker Drivers in support of the Operational Team in Cardiff. You will be working within a well established team that are looking to expand further with another strong member of staff.

The job:

You will working independently operating our high specification tankering vacuumation units. Work Projects, will include any drainage related issues,

• moving treated and untreated waste product, assisting with remedial works
• Liaising with customers.
• Updating electronical records.
• Ensuring safety issues are reported.
• Vehicle and Jetting Equipment checks

About you:

• Competent in using an electronic device – laptop / tablet for data entry.
• Physical fitness and lots of energy.
• Ideally A driving licence with no more than 4 points
• Industry related qualifications such as NRSWA and Confined Space (desirable)
• a CPC is required for this role.
• Previous experience with vacuumation tankering works would be highly advantageous.
