Responsibilities

• Co-operate with management and team to ensure the job is complete at the end of the day.
• Work to the timescale and deadlines.
• Ensure vehicle load is safe, secure and correctly positioned.
• Check and accept load documentation and delivery paperwork.
• Check in returned goods and ensure paperwork is accurate.
• Maintain constant communication with the Traffic Office.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and use equipment safely as per procedures.
• Operate the vehicle safely without endangering others.
• Comply with safe working practices at all times.

We have vacancies for Warehouse Operatives/HGV Strappers at a distribution centre based in Ellesmere Port.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role & also be physically fit as this is a very demanding role

Duties to Include:

• Loading/unloading of cardboard and reels
• Cooperate with management and team to ensure the job is complete at the end of the day
• Work to the timescale and deadlines
• Ensure vehicle load is safe, secure and correctly positioned.
• Correctly check and accept load documentation and delivery paperwork.
• Correctly check in any returned goods and ensure paperwork is accurate.
• Maintain constant communication with the Traffic Office
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and use all equipment safely, as specified in operating procedures.
• Operate the vehicle safely, ensuring driver actions do not endanger the driver or other road users.
• Comply with safe working practices at all times.

This may suit a student. But would prefer you to be able to work 5days a week.

We have different shifts available. Monday to Friday

• 6am to 3.30pm £13.06 ph
• 3pm to 11pm £13.06ph
• 10.30pm to 6.30 am £14.00ph

Rate of Pay: Weekends

• £19.59 ph Day Shifts Sun
• £21.00 - Night Shift. Sun
