Perfect Placement Uk Ltd in Caerphilly is recruiting an experienced HGV Sales Executive for a reputable multi-franchise commercial vehicle dealership in South Wales. You will be responsible for selling brand-new heavy goods vehicles, accessories, finance products, warranties and related services to meet targets.

The role covers CF, NP and LD postcodes with a basic salary of £35,000–£40,000, plus 10% uncapped commission, a company car, pension, and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in HGV/truck sales or related background.
• Excellent communication and professional presentation.
• Strong organisational and IT skills.
• Valid UK driving licence essential; HGV licence advantageous if held.

Responsibilities

• Sell new heavy goods vehicles, accessories, finance options, warranties and related products.
• Keep customers informed regarding delivery progress and resolve delays.
• Handle customer queries and collect payments prior to vehicle release.
• Explain warranty and service arrangements and introduce customers to the Service Department.
• Demonstrate vehicle features and provide after-sales support.
• Proactively prospect for new sales through follow-ups and referrals.
• Maintain accurate customer records in the database.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs in a high-performance environment.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable multi-franchise approved commercial vehicle dealership in Caerphilly, for the position of HGV Sales Executive. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced and professional HGV Sales Executive to join a growing business and enhance their career within the motor trade. The successful HGV Sales Executive will be responsible for selling brand-new heavy goods vehicles, accessories, finance products, warranties, and related services to meet and exceed set targets.

• Basic salary between £35,000 and £40,000 per annum
• Uncapped 10% commission on retained profit, with potential to earn in excess of £80,000 annually

HGV Sales Executive Duties:

• Sell new heavy goods vehicles, accessories, finance options, warranties, and related products

• IT literate and organised in workload management
• Valid UK driving licence is essential; an HGV licence (preferably Class 1) is advantageous but not mandatory
• Resilience and the ability to work under pressure
