Job summary

Serco Limited in Ash Vale is seeking an HGV Refuse and Recycling Driver to deliver a full waste and recycling service to local residents and businesses. Working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, you will be the public face of Serco in the community and ensure high standards of service.

You will perform vehicle safety checks, work with loaders as a team, and enjoy a benefits package including physiotherapy, enhanced holiday entitlement, and a contributory pension.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Class 1 or 2 driving licence and a Driver CPC.
• Are physically fit and healthy.
• Are a dedicated, friendly and professional team player.
• Are willing to go the extra mile on your rounds to help your team hit its targets.

Responsibilities

• Complete a pre-planned route as the driver, with your team of loaders, collecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.
• Be the public face of Serco in the community.
• Ensure that your vehicle safety checks are completed and that your truck is clean and work ready, before setting off on your round.
