Job summary

East Suffolk Services Limited is seeking a Refuse HGV Driver/Loader to join our Waste and Recycling team in Ufford, Woodbridge. You will drive HGV Refuse Collection Vehicles and load refuse, recycling, garden, food waste, and sacks, while prioritising health and safety and delivering excellent customer care.

The role also includes acting as chargehand for your round and supporting in-cab technology to ensure accurate route information is recorded and reported to the depot.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK Driver's Licence.
• LGV Class 2 Category C licence and a valid Driver CPC.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Refuse Collection Vehicles and load refuse, recycling, garden, food waste and sacks onto the lorry.
• Act as chargehand for your round, taking accountability for the vehicle and crew.
• Assist with in-cab technology and ensure accurate route information is recorded and submitted.
