Job summary
The AA is seeking an HGV Recovery Driver to deliver calm, technical recovery services across diverse locations. You will work independently within a supportive team, handling roadside situations with a focus on safety and customer care.
The role requires flexibility for shifts, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays, and focus on compliant, professional service. Applicants must hold Category C (HGV Class 2) (or CE) licences, Driver CPC and a tachograph card, with a readiness to gain CE
Qualifications
- Full Category C (HGV Class 2) driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and a digital tachograph card.
- Confidence using and adapting to new technology.
- Flexibility to work shifts including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
Responsibilities
- Safely recover vehicles and reassure customers during breakdowns.
- Work independently across varied locations while remaining part of a supportive team.
- Solve problems on the spot using technical skills and a calm approach.
- Ensure compliance with EU Regulations & WTD while representing The AA professionally.
