Aberdeen City Council is recruiting a Fleet Workshop Technician to inspect, maintain and repair vehicles, plant and equipment across its fleet workshops and depots in Aberdeen. The role requires the ability to work on own initiative and to communicate clearly with the management team and customers.

Applicants should have City and Guilds Heavy Vehicle service and maintenance (9302) or an equivalent mechanical engineering qualification, a valid UK driving licence, and preferably a Category C (HGV)

Formación

• City and Guilds Heavy vehicle service and maintenance (9302) or equivalent qualification.
• Full current UK driving licence required.
• Category C (HGV) licence preferred where possible.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, maintain and repair vehicles, plant and equipment in Aberdeen City Council Fleet workshops and depots.
• Communicate effectively with management and customers while working on own initiative.
